RLG is pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Hodson as our newest Partner, effective May 1, 2024. Mark will be taking on this new role with the same great enthusiasm and dedication he has demonstrated since starting with RLG in June 2023.

Mark brings 25 years of experience from the energy sector, including Suncor, Shell, and NOVA Chemicals where his most recent role was Vice President of NOVA’s Manufacturing West petrochemical complex. In several of those roles, Mark worked directly with RLG and through the years became familiar with RLG’s approach and methodology from the client perspective.

During his time with us, Mark has been working closely with the partners and managing partners to deepen his knowledge of RLG tools and capabilities. He has demonstrated exceptional strategic thinking in business development, fostering key client relationships, successfully closing several key deals, as well as developing a funnel of future opportunities.

Mark and his family live in Calgary, Alberta. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta and continues to embrace community building roles where he is currently serving on the boards of the United Way of Central Alberta and Red Deer Polytechnic
